After finding four bodies in Bowdoin, Maine, officials got reports of gun shots on a highway where three people were injured. Police say a person of interest has been detained and that the instances are connected. WCSH’s Jackie Mundry reports.

Another act of gun violence made possible by the second amendment.
Silence the second: 1.5 sentences of wizened, twee, and evidently dangerous twaddle left by dead ancestors to visit not freedom, but chaos, terror, trauma, death, and misery upon, and paranoia among, their living descendants. Repeal the second amendment because *the second caused this*.
I live about a hour from here. Was on the interstate backed up wayyy back… Maine is a very safe state and EVERYONE KNOWS we all carry here…. We’re very discreet about it and Maine has some of the lowest crime rates and gun violence rates in the entire country if not the complete lowest…. This was just a sad incident that happened, but I would not think of it as being connected to anything happening right now…. Thinking of those injured and those that lost their lives… And really This is exactly why I have a .40cal Glock sitting in a quick release holster on my passenger seat, even for a ride to the gas station.. it doesn’t matter . The US is still a very peaceful place for the most part, and I’d like to think it always will be.. but sometimes wrong time, wrong moment, wrong place… happens and being prepared is better than not..
I literally just Google Mas shootings in USA every day. I'm still waiting for a single day when my search comes up empty. So sad to be a gun-toting american. I'll trade you a capital A on american for your guns.
