My only brother and his son served the navy this breaks my heart I been on the US George Washington because of my brother when I was 15
I first thought this repeat of the sailors who were left to live on ship that was dry docked being repaired , instead being put in temporary barracks, the dust, noise 24/7 , being cut off from outside world with any transportation got them and 3 committed suicide, this happened less a year ago and now it is happening again. Toxic leadership is too common in the navy. The enlisted are treated as pawns by officers who only care about promotions.

The first question is how do they know the deaths were suicides. Oddly, They did not report how they died. So assuming it’s a suicide seems naive they could have been easily murdered and then staged to make it look as if it was a suicide.
Didn't that happen just a few months ago as well were a few sailors took thier life?

I know it's oversimplified, but vitamin D3 deficiency increases depression and possibly increase the suicide rate. I wish a study of vitamin D3 drops under the toungue and it helping heal depression was taken seriously.
