I heard Geraldo Rivera this morning, "how could this happen with only a knife like weapon?" (I'm paraphrasing). He doesn't understand how the murderer could have done this with just an edge like weapon. It can and does happen. A guy my daughters knew when in college killed three of their friends, in a drug crazed state of mind, with a knife. All of them where awake when he attacked them. He set the house ablaze after he killed them. Geez, that was twenty years ago.
