Of course they settled. They make billions in ad revenue. If they can settle with an NDA keeping people from talking about the suit for a few million, they are WAY ahead of the curve in profit.
So, why settle? Usually? Lawyers. What you are offered, minus lawyer fees, is usually a good deal. Even if you don't settle, get a larger judgement, the lawyers fees could eat that up. So, people settle and Faux News goes on with business as usual.
Fox didn't disclose all pertinent information during the trial.
