It was confirmed that she had a den of pups and also tested positive for rabies. She’s been euthanized and they’re trying to determine what to do with her pups. I’m not sure if being rabid contributed to her taking nips at people, but I’m quite sure that she was also hunting for food to bring back to her pups and also likely protecting her den.
