I have flown with both with no issues at all. It’s the quality of people that fly with them that truly give both such a hang up.
Their seats are comfortable as seating on side of the highway.

I have a lot of stock with spirit but I only check my stuff once a month or less. This was nice news as I just saw the stock jumped up.

Every time I've flown on a budget airline I've had a bad experience. Somehow they ALWAYS end up late and it actually would have been cheaper to fly delta or another mainstream airline in the first place because I had to buy a replacement flight

Fortunately I made my last flight with US carriers last year and will never fly with any again nor go to from or through the US. All American companies are scams and where I reside US items are 5 times the price for interior things. For instance Campbell's Tomato Soup is $4, while a can of Maggio Tomato Soup twice the size from Mexico is 55 cents. A Toyota 1/2 ton 4X4 truck sells for $16,000 while a Chevy 2 WD drive 1/2 ton is $87,000. The rest of the world chooses not to buy American products with their $27 an hour labor rates.

I'll stick to Southwest.

There should be a law forcing Spirit and Frontier to put padding in their seats.

Whoever is in charge of Live Broadcast is constantly drinking, eating or typing over the mic, and it is incredibly hard to listen to the news.

This helps consumers dramatically. Delta, Southwest, United, Continental, and US Airways conspired with each other to increase the prices of domestic airline tickets between July 1, 2011 and June 14, 2018. Their price-fixing conspiracy generated more than $21.7 billion in profit for just American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and Southwest. These profits were reportedly made at the expense of unknowing consumers. Keeps the legacy airlines honest.
Front-Spit would be an appropriate merged name ! .. I’ll never fly with them anyway …
