Take actionn against violent video games, violent movies, violent tv shows. That is one of the real reason of those shootings. Anti gun laws don't work, why? Because criminals always find a way to have a weapon.

I pray for the people of Buffalo, and specifically the families and friends of the victims. I've tried to defend MAGA supporters, but that "movement" is just bearing so much negativity that I give up. I try to be a moderate progressive/liberal person, but I respect various perspectives. The problem is wacky right-wing conspiracy theories and the resulting hatred is not acceptable, on any level.
NY already has all the gun laws needed, some of the strictest in the country. That terrorist broke all the gun laws and murdered innocent people. Gun laws wont stop a person with that level of commitment to do violence.
California has nearly EVERY gun control law on the book and shootings like this STILL happened. "Assault rifles" are banned in any normal functioning capacity, high capacity mags are banned, nothing over 10, we have background checks, paid safety tests out of my pocket for even owning a gun, safe storage laws where we have to give give the safe model number, forced to pay $1k on a safe, ammo background checks for every dingle purchase for ammo, the same check to buy a rifle, the government has a list of exactly what type of ammo I have and how much of it, a specific roster of handguns you can only choose from, no suppressors, period, no armor piercing ammo for handguns, no rifles for anyone under 21(until recently overturned as unconstitutional) no Inherent right to carry guns out In public, period, you have to get police permission, not even adjustable stocks, most semi auto rifles either have to have the magazine permanently fixed into the gun or you can have a normal reloading mag but with only iron sights and literally no normal grips, pistol grips, or even a normal stock to hold on like you would an unassuming hunting rifles, they literally force it to be designed designed be uncomfortable and unsafe to hold, Night vision scopes are illegal, no 3d printed ghost guns unless it's literally a bolt action glock which you still have to register to the state regardless, and you legally have to put metal in regardless, random college students can look up all my information about my race, age,, gender, address, general personal info, and exactly what types of guns I have under under guise of "research purposes" and much more I am forgetting including rampant taxes that literally go to fund anti gun measures/research. All of this is from experience as a gun owner living in California. It has put a HUGE financial burden on me while doing NOTHING to stop the criminals in Stockton and other places, so How could you seriously and honestly claim that we need more gun control when this STILL happens all the time in the most highly related gun control heaven state? It isn't about gun control or public safety, it is about people control and disarming the public, not keeping them safe. They cite examples of places like Australia and the UK for gun violence going down. Yes specifically gun violence went down, but violence in general and violent crime skyrocketed. That's why the UK has such a knife issue. They know this, they aren't stupid. They aren't in the business of keeping people safe, they are in the business of disarming them. If they wanted to keep people safe they would encourage gun ownership. It isn't about gun control or public safety, it is about people control and disarming the public, not keeping them safe. They cite examples of places like Australia and the UK for gun violence going down. Yes specifically gun violence went down, but violence in general and violent crime skyrocketed. shooter gets out of the car and people that notice him DONT RUN?, theres no blood when victims gets shoot?, shooter shoots at the window store and the window breaks a little but the bullet dose not go through the window? last but not least shooters cam was filming the area of the Magazine Release Button of the weapon so WHERE ARE ALL THE BULLET SHELLS?
