To the skeptics:- I suppose this is all propaganda. The lady is reading a from a script and the burned down house was staged. It is all in doubt because it was not caught on camera – and even if it was that could also be faked- right?
If we can't trust what an elderly lady is saying anymore why then should anyone bother to be truthful at all? An if that is the case, what does is matter which side your are on? All that matters is who wins the war. That is the logic the skeptics are advocating. You see how insane the world has become?
When she was released her husband hadn’t been released yet so she was under duress to speak well about Hamas- now she found out Hamas does not give necessary medicine to Hostages, so she knows her 90-year-old husband is unlikely to still be alive without his heart and blood pressure medicine.. So she feels she can speak the truth about her conditions as a hostage.

You forgot to show the clip where the old woman made sure to turn around and hug the hamas fighter as she was being exchanged. You also forgot to mention how the old woman denounces the IDF and current government, even after being held as a hostage. Cool stuff Peacock. Very balanced.

Nice try NBC, this lady shook the hand of captor. Her initial statement was not what you trying to extract from her. I am not Jewish or a zionist. Oded will be fine, he will come home safely. Hamas will take care of Oded as they took care of his wife.
When the hostages are freed the war will be over. Yet, the UN does not help in this. Makes me question the UN’s intentions
These beautiful people are PEACE activists caught in the middle of those who are on the wrong side of history – those on both sides still exerting might over right. I pray the tides turn for our evolution where Right Over Might is always the answer, praying for peace in Israel, Palestine and everywhere in this world as history repeats itself. Love and hope from the U.S. for this human’s safe return and the good people on BOTH sides.
My heart breaks for this family and all of the families of those held captive. That is exactly the goal of terrorists, to force us to give in and meet their demands. Giving in to their demands then encourages further kidnapping because the terrorists see that they get what they want from doing it. It’s a no win situation.

very emotional interview. breaks my heart to see elderly and children suffer on both sides for the ideology of a few.
The interviewer asked her about everything safe about how she was treated. She hasn’t criticised her captors more than her government that has other objectives than releasing the captives.
Despite these realities TERRORIST SYMPATHIZING NATIONS in the un still voted to force a ceasefire where hamas will most likely replenish their arsenal, regroup and make this mess last longer.

The Israeli government is completely focused on ethnic cleansing in Gaza, they don't even put their own people, their lives and wellbeing in the first place. It is obvious to the whole decent world.
Besides, Netanyahu didn't even explain how October the 7th was even possible, he said there was no time for analysing. He grabbed the bombs and pressed the red buttons immediately, like he couldn't wait to do so. How was it even possible that these Hamas gunmen on those poor even (for that context) grotesque motorcycles break through the most Hi-tech equipped and the most observated wall in the world. The world is waiting to find it all out, how was it even possible?
Someone is playing with the lives of ordinary good people on both sides. Young lady is showing a beautiful garden with cactuses, as it once was. On the other side, the Palestinians were growing olive trees, before they were pushed away from their land, we shouldn't forget how heartbreaking and injustice it was as well. Mrs Lifshitz I wish from all my heart that your husband comes back.
At the end, we hear about "common people" from Israel, one or more than one story about each of them. I am thankful to hear their stories. And about "common people" of Gaza? Not one story. 9000+ children have been killed up to today. There is just A NUMBER – NINE THOUSANDS. Nine thousand stories were not told to anyone. 20 000 stories altogether till today. Is it alright? Is it acceptable?
