I think we can also give some space to Biden putting together a good team and then letting them do their jobs. He is a manager with many irons in the fire. Didn’t foresee a recession? Oh my goodness. As if the “recession” is a local problem.
I think Biden knew that working to build a an historic coalition of world leaders to combat global challenges would be the most important thing he could do to prevent global problems like WAR, recession and the demise of a democratic, laws-based approach to governing.
He is doing a worthy job, as someone said, and has a global view of even domestic problems which some aren’t getting as they pursue their own self-oriented rise to power and influence. Domestically, in order to turn around the damage done to our system in the tRump years specifically, he was always going to need more time than one term and/or a more people-oriented representation in congress. He didn’t get that. What he did get was a sabotaged admin system, a narrow margin against the cynical and power-driven congressional membership that allowed tRump to exist, and an out of control covid epidemic. He managed to rein all of that in despite the corruption that runs rampant in the republican party at this time. He’s not done yet … he needs that next 4 years. And, he needs a better margin in the House and Senate.
He was ready when Putin decided to take his only shot at “taking” Ukraine. Biden was not daunted but inspired to actively engage others in a global response to the invasion that included action on a number of issues that needed attention even before the Feb24 invasion of World Peace.
I think he is doing a great job. He needs and deserves our support.

He definitely looked the other way when it came to the capital police.
These two so-called reporters were working for and paid a handsome salary by the New York Times when they came into possession of the McCarthy tapes months ago. But did they reveal the contents of those tapes then, when the information could have made a difference in the public's perception about the work of the House's January 6 Commission? No, they CHOSE to wait — presumably with the knowledge and consent of their editors — to do so until right before their book was published, thereby guaranteeing that the book would sell well and guaranteeing them a handsome profit from book sales.
IMHO, the NYT should fire these two reporters (and their bosses) because they worked on a private project on company time AND they utterly failed in their PRIMARY responsibility to tell the truth to the public in a timely manner about the people in power and hold the powerful to be accountable for their behavior. In the end, these two "reporters"⁹ are just glorified grifters who used their jobs to make money on future book sales.
And it was genuinely disgusting that Chucky boy didn't ask these "reporters" why they didn't reveal the contents of the McCarthy tapes right afterthey came into possessìon of the tapes and if they believe they utterly failed their responsibility to NYT readers and the genral public by keeping this information away from the public untìl it would guarantee bigger profits from the future sales of their book.
