Here's a thought experiment: I abduct someone, hold him against his will (imprison him), and he dies while under my control. Is there any doubt the prosecutor will charge me with murder? They will argue that since the deceased was under my control I had a duty to preserve his life. And I agree. So can someone please explain why the same standard is NOT used with respect to law enforcement agencies and prison guards????

These medical examiners supposedly give accurate and reliably correct diagnostic information. BUT, their job is DIRECTLY ATTRIBUTED to the police departments they work for. Therefore, go against your boss and you WILL be finding a new job.

It was educational and inspirational to listen to and to watch the last speech of our brilliant Joe Biden.
On a separate note, is it not interesting, that when Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin were giving speeches, along with all other communist leaders, they also appeared against red background? The same obviously applies to Xi Jinping, current president of the People's Republic of China, also serving as general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party and chairman of the Central Military Commission, the "tradition" initiated in fact by Chairman Mao, the founder of the People's Republic of China. Likewise, Kim Jong-un, Supreme Leader of North Korea and the leader of the Workers' Party of Korea also likes to do the same, just like his father, Kim Jong-il, North Korea's second supreme leader, as well as his grandfather, Kim Il-sung, the founder and the first supreme leader of North Korea.
Not coincidently, when Adolf Hitler was giving speeches, he used to present himself on the red background as well. I stated above "not coincidently", because Hitler also liked red color. Nazi swastika is depicted in a white circle surrounded by large red space. In 1920, when he decided that the Nazi Party needed its own insignia and flag, this was the color that Hitler chose. For him, this color was “a symbol of our own struggle”, and in 1925, in his infamous manifesto, "Mein Kampf", Hitler declared: “In red we see the social idea of the movement".
It just seems to me, that our creepy uncle Joe must be working on his legacy really hard and that he wants to be remembered this way.
Just for clarification, to set the record straight, I do not compare Joe Biden, or anyone else, to Adolf Hitler or any other tyrant (I am even not really sure if he would know what I am talking about anyway). Right now, I am just commenting on the color. Actually, I like red color myself. However, having grown up under communist totalitarian system*, and having lived in the vicinity of former Nazi concentration camp**, whenever I see red stage and speeches being given on the red background, I always have such flashbacks.

If anyone thinks, that I may have posted the same remarks before, with only minor and insignificant changes, they are definitively correct. It happens occasionally, that my comments are somehow removed (or, using George Orwell's language: "vaporized"), and sometimes even kind of quickly. I do not believe, anyone could offer me a clue, how it happens and why. However, when I do notice that, I post my observations for the second time, changing only a few words, to make it hopefully more difficult for my comments to disappear again. It is very difficult to understand the situation with law enforcement agencies. They can very often turn everything around and will be right. Of course, it is possible that many people provoke. Having bipolar disorder or just an explosive temper. Everything would be much better if each side adhered to the law. And many such things, actions need to be taught from childhood in the family. Everything comes from there.
