The only thing that surprised me about SCOTUS over turning Roe vs. Wade was how shocked other people were by it. It’s not like the right has been keeping their plans a secret.

It is also imposing the catholic religious opinion onto people of all the other religious communities in the country. Hindu, Moslem and Jewish religious opinions are all different and I think religious liberty would suggest that no religion's views should be imposed on everyone.

I’m retired now but I was a healthcare provider. If the lay public saw the things I saw that happens to babies who are born to drug addicts and to 12 year old incest victims, you might feel even more strongly. I will never forget those babies nor the ones found in drainage ditches who were dead, in ponds , buried in the backyard. One father shoved a baby wipe into the baby’s mouth and blocked her airway and she died. Please don’t force babies to be born. It is punishing them for their parents ignorance and neglect .

Interesting that no one on this panel (except Noonan) seems to care that there is NO right to abortion (or any suggestion remotely related to abortion) outlined in the Constitution. Just because 7 justices in 1973 made up a right out of thin air does not make it "Constitutional" or "conservative." Susan Collins is simply wrong.
