At this point Democrats might of won some solid ground,but it seems about the only thing they can count on is the fracturing or divisions in the Republican party ! If the Democrats assert their left of center muscles and don't hold the line on what has been built by Pelosi and leadership it all will descend in chaos, and Trump is the King of chaos!
The only issue here is that one side is unwilling to accept the truth. You literally have Republicans who know they should let Donald Trump go but they don’t want to say so publicly. They don’t even want to push him out of the party because they fear what it would do to the base they see what Donald Trump a single individual could do to them running as a third-party candidate, nobody even talks about that. Here’s a person who literally could raise the money to run as a third-party candidate split the vote for Republicans and guarantee they don’t win office in 2024. It’s unlikely he would win if he ran, but it would keep him from being prosecuted, potentially, until after the elections England it would think their chances. Republicans know this and they know he is likely to do something like this. If he doesn’t get what he wants from them and rather than say, let’s be done with this let’s be done with the man who has cost us so much yes, he gave them a lot, but it cost them a lot as well rather than say that, rather than get rid of the man who caused people to literally stormed the capital literally had people threatening the life of the vice president rather than get rid of him they say just enough to let people know we don’t really like him, but should he win that nomination he’s our friend. This is why Republicans are in trouble they have no spine. They are proud to say they are strong, but in actuality, quite weak they won’t do what needs to be done right now they won’t rip off the Band-Aid endure the pain that they need to do it now so they could be stronger later. They won’t even admit that a special counsel is truly independent. Right now that’s exactly what they should be saying this is a special counsel. We believe he is independent. We believe he can be independent. We support him in what he does going forward. That’s all they have to say. Let him do all the work for them, they won’t even say that the man’s been prosecuting international criminals for years. They said nothing. They didn’t consider him a political hack then as a lawyer, what would make him suddenly change now the only thing is Republicans don’t want to admit this independent council it’s just that independent because it runs the risk of Donald Trump coming after them for tell me the truth.
