Voters are on burnout, especially Dems. I know many who don't even watch, listen to or read the news. They refuse to watch or listen to Trump at all and turn off and tune out for sanity's sake.

The GOP needs to consider more than just whether Trump is their candidate. They need to consider their platform; are they going to keep trying to control women's bodies? Oppressing the LGBTQI+ community? Banning books? Denying climate change? Giving tax cuts to the rich? Busting unions? Deregulating trains and polluters? Will they be willing to keep the church out of government? Will the GOP join the modern world or will they keep growing less popular and keep depending on gerrymandering and stacking the courts?
Former Rep Comstock seems to be sure that Trump will lose altitude. How many times have we heard that Trump is going to go down? I'm very skeptical about this debate making any dent in Trump's support. We'll see though.
