The country ranks 36th against other countries in terms of its democracy which is deemed as failing. The discussions don't amount to actions within the relevant bodies that should be safeguarding people in terms of their basic rights by having national standards. Speaking of gerrymandering but no national legislation to prevent it, guns no real outage from law makers!

The comparison is beside the point. State congressional leaders joined a group of people who violently forced their way through police officers to unlawfully storm a government building. They joined the protesters and disrupted a congressional meeting which is a crime in TN. If they were republicans we would all be dreaming for the heads on a platter.
