Forgive me if I'm ignorant, but wouldn't cutting taxes be the same as new government spending when it comes to increasing inflation? If the gov cuts (for the sake of an example) a billion dollars revenue from taxing people, then wouldn't that be adding to the deficit and increasing inflation?
Is that not what just happened in the UK with Truss the libertarian?
How would the republican tax plan work if it increases the deficit? Wouldn't it make more sense to increase taxes on the well off to fund programs that combat inflation and lower the deficit?
Economies around the world are in bad shape. China is in a financial crisis. Most of the world economies are crashing or have crashed. Europe is in recession. Russia is sending it's economy backwards for decades . The US will feel pain, but this is the best place to be while the economies of the world crash, and the US will recover faster than any other country.
There's more to worry about if republicans win! Republicans will destroy us all, democracy and our country! I heard KM, LG, RJ want to take away our social security! I depend on my social security.
