He said at the beginning of all this, that he had Dr's that would say that he was mentally deranged to keep him from going to jail.
Where's the separation of powers? Raskin worked for 2 years on the Jan 6th committee to frame this case against Trump and 3 of the 4 charges in Smith's indictment came from that committee. Bennie Thompson said this on MSNBC, that 3 of the 4 charges came from their Jan 6th committee. You can bet the supreme court is not gonna like congress violating separation of powers. Investigation is one thing, but this crossed the line into prosecutorial when they helped craft the indictment.
Holding Trump accountable for attempting a coup is not a battle over "free speech."
Conspiracy to overturn an election is not protected under the First Amendment.

Ever heard of double jeopardy Raskin? Trump was already impeached over Jan 6th. The supreme court is gonna throw this out on its ear. You also violated separation of powers by becoming involved in Trump's indictment and crafting 3 of the 4 charges. Bennie Thompson spilled the beans on this. Then you have Smith committing fraud when he intentionally misrepresented the case and omitted the part of Trump's speech where he said "Peacefully and patriotically". Smith is also gonna have to prove 2 things that are impossible to prove. He;s gonna have to prove that the election was not stolen, but there was no official election audit, because congress voted not to delay certification and do one. You can say that the election was not stolen, but you have no proof of this. How can you say Trump overturned a legitimate election without an official audit. It might not be legit, which means Trump had every right to try and overturn it. Also, how are you gonna prove that Trump believed the election was legit? Do you have a mind reading machine?
