I think General Keane is stating the obvious because its taken 3 months for the Ukrainians to rebuild their forces and have achieved great things in reversing the advances the Russians have made both around Kiev and Kharkov. Like he said they are about to go on the offensive because they now have the weapons and manpower to do it.
Putin is bandit and he wants to get more tomorrow than he holds today. No economy and no politics, no rationality. ($ trillions) would be spent shortly next years to fight Russia directly otherwise Putin must be stopped today by Ukraine.

Ukraine can put a costly, but pointless defense for a while, but in the end a negotiated settlement entailing Russia's demands will need to be addressed.

I am a FOX viewer and appreciate the network. Larry. You say Ukraine is winning? Are you crazy? Russia pretty much already won. They are finishing up in Donbass killing 700 Ukrainian troops on average each day and are now land locking Ukraine from access to the Black Sea. If I know this. Certainly FOX News with all its overseas contacts know this. The propaganda has run its course. Nice try. But it didn't work. NATO was playing checkers and Putin is playing Chess. Russia won this. The US passed away $40 billion taxpayer dollars for nothing.

I regret to inform those who believe everything the media tell them but this just isn't the case. While it's true many parts of the frontline are static so far the Russians have made breakthroughs in the South and are rapidly spreading to encircle many of the Ukrainian ground forces. Kharkiv was practically given back to the Ukrainian ground forces with no resistance (the Russians had already left) in 90 percent of the towns they liberated. I think it's looking rough for them we shouldn't downplay the severity of the situation just because you want the American people to think the Ukrainians have a chance if we send them a massive amount of weapons on the US taxpayer dime.
Remember when your hero Donald Trump was busily sucking on Putin's teat all the time and all you Republican sheep had Putin at more than 60% approval rate as a leader and "friend"? So Faux News, and Republican voters, how are Trump and Putin doing these days?
