Just Democrats playing the race card again
Germany just agreed to pay 1.4 billion to holocaust victims around the world but yet blacks can't get anything from a country that enslaved them to build up their wealth.
This is the issue, white people think it was a good thing for black people to be in a place with running water, paved streets, electricity etc. as if we couldn’t create that on our own if we wanted it. We were the great creators, and the ones who created the cities. What they fail to realize, is that we would for go all of that, to not live with them. We didn’t want to live among these people, what makes these people think it was a good thing, it wasn’t. Nothing but mistreatment, hatred, violence against us, why would we want to live with the same people who put us in this situation, they knew the ones among them were exceptions, but all that changed, and so did their perception of the people they lived with, when they were burned out and forced to move. So two groups of people, lived the same experience, but in different ways, for the white’s it would have been easy to loiter around to find work in order to lift themselves up, and the job market was all about them, and not go to jail, blacks were not afforded that same opportunity, the jails filled up because of this fact. What they gave them was nothing, considering what they went through, before these white peoples met them, and what they went through every year since then.
Stop voting for the ones that does not have our best interest💯💯

The black family that got Manhattan Beach taking got their Beach back. They didn't mention what white families where paid for their home's. She said they were paid fair. Nothing was equal so I doubt that they were paid equally.
Victims of the holocaust gets reparations to this day,and no one see anything wrong with that but black Americans are supposed to just get over it since it was so long ago.
The Japanese received reparations from America in 1988 for what happened to them just about 50years prior .

What the older white lady fail to add was that her and husband could get a loan. They could get a mortgage . They were "trusted " to repay it. We weren't.
Not to mention at the beginning of the segment the reporter said the town was one of the few that aloud black people to own property. She and her husband didn't have to fight against that. So she really should be quite . She shows her racism big time.

Someone needs to explain to "white" Americans that reparations is not their debt to pay, no one is blaming them directly for slavery. Jim crow etc.. . It's the Federal and State governments who sanctioned the policies that allowed these thing to happen to African Americans that owe the debt. And arguments about "my tax money" are without merit. African Americans pay taxes as well. And there are numerous payouts and support provided to other groups of people as well as foreign nations that are far less valid than reparations to African Americans

I am white and poor and work hard for a living and can hardly pay the rent. Can I also get free land? I was born here and have a family history of being born here so that means my land was also stollen.

We all have had something stolen from us by people who are no longer around or living. It's time to move on, Reparations will not fix your issue or bring our societies together. Let it go, move on.

Everyone pays taxes whether you buy food to keeping a roof over your head! No matter what race you are if your land was taken away from you because of Eminent Domain you have every right to receive Reparation for the land. If you don't want to fight for it that's on you.
I'm african. Why aren't west African tribes who are still around and recognized royalty in places like Ghana Nigeria congo etc who where the leaders of the kingdoms selling black Americans to Europeans aren't asked to pay reparations?😊
Reparations in 2023 should not happen. I'm sorry but this is wrong. You cannot just cater towards one group of people. What about the jews? Will Germany pay all those they stole from and the lives they destroyed? What about the Japanese? Will they pay the Koreans? What about the NATIVE AMERICANS??? This is how the cookie crumbled and we cannot just pay people because they are lazy and believe they deserve money.
