  1. Michael Strahan narrating is a little different than Morgan freeman narrating

  2. Imagine what could be under any water! Really Kool tho!! Wow

  3. Send money to the government so we can stop this climate change, people……Come on man!

  4. Michael Strahan….. Psh…… I lost all respect for you when you had "Desmond is Amazing" on your show and you was watching him do a strip tease and enjoyed it.

  5. Climate always changes. Nothing new.

  6. Why were you compelled to ask "What are the other highlights?" If you can't feel it keep it quiet.

  7. Each one of those statues represents their dead ancestors. if 1 dies they make a new one

  8. OK, but can we talk about how cute and sweet it was for the tour guide to have him close his eyes before he saw the crater

  9. As important to history as the Easter island heads are, if they are under threat from climate change. Can't the presiding government develop a way to preserve the statues without moving them? Such as created an airtight glass case around each one to protect it from the elements? Dunno, just an idea.

  10. 3:35 is it me or is there some kid crying in the background?

  11. Haven't they tried ground penetrating radars?

  12. Maybe this Omen written or Spoken in their Culture that : When a New Warrior Maoi Statue emerged from the Lake >>> That is a Sign for … πŸ™πŸ•―πŸŒ

  13. Should of named this piece – "Watch how many times we can say climate change in 6 minutes"

  14. πŸ—ΏπŸ—ΏπŸ—Ώ

  15. Beautiful view nature and history and all

  16. I can't believe ABC News is putting out this magnificent, scenic story on 730p. It deserves and needs better quality. Embarrassing for a pro network such as ABC.

  17. Lol peddling the mainstream left wing globalist establishment agenda

  18. Thanks for not showing me the new statue up close

  19. So this story isnt really about the new statue…its really about climate change agenda

  20. I read the book "Aku Aku" by Thor Heyerdahl when I was a child. In it, Heyerdahl and crew traveled to Easter Island in a raft built out of reeds, he was trying to prove how Pacific islanders may have traveled from the mainland and populated all of the various islands. As I recall, only the heads of the Maoi were visible at the time, it took years before archaeologists began to dig at the statues' bases, and discovered that they had bodies that had sunk into the ground. The book was fascinating.

  21. So much discoveries lately 😎

  22. Due to climate change but how did it get there in the first place? Did they go place it out in the middle of lake, sounds like bs

  23. Climate change is a mis-nomer

  24. Climate change? You idiots! If the statue was not seen before until the water went away, and now it can be seen, then the climate if anything has returned to the same state it was when the statue was created. Unless you think then sunk it in the water to start with?

  25. I love this reporter. Can he do ALL news?

  26. That's so cool you got to go to Easter island!!!! Hope it was a cool trip! I've always loved the statues and other ancient sites!!!

  27. So they were transported via the lake?!
