Im sorry but nature always wins. You build a town on a dried lake bed your are taking a risk, I have no sympathy.
Should be thankful the water is coming back, because we can’t Live Without Fresh Water.
Let the lake come back!
Or soon you will be complaining your crops are dying because of Drought!!
Nothing to do with climate change, just stupidity getting rid of the lake in the first place.
looks like we found one of the real reasons for inflation…
The lake should be left alone to keep the environment in a healthy balance.
California going to be under water soon as predicted
Well, that's the cost of doing business, suck it up buttercup!
Climate change has nothing too do with this what it is all about is men being greedy they pumped the water out nature will put it back.
Humans are the worst invasive species
Hmmm…yeah maybe dont built in a dry lake bed during the dry years
Why not start trucking the water to places that it's needed? Or truck, pump w.e the water and make a lake/reservoir somewhere it's needed? I get cost and all that but we as humans gotta be smart enough to turn a shitty situation into something better.
That water will be gone in no time .
Funny how people drain a lake then build in the lake bed. Then are shocked when it rains and floods…
Ghost story? What a joke.
I hope they lose it all. No one asked yall to drain natural features to make yourself a millionaire and then cry bc it's expensive to move your crap.
Here's a idea….. Don't build your damn home on a existent lake then get surprised when it decides to return
So they took the lake away, built on the lake bed without raising the elevation and just assumed there would never be rain or water again. Lesson learned, maybe.
Let the lake live!
Jesus is here….repent steadfast and call upon his name🙏🙏🙏
What goes around comes back around.
Power of greed
Foolish try to beat mother nature anyway and build in a lake bed.
PEOPLE THERE IS SOMETHING BADDD COMING… BE PREPARED… GROW WHAT U EAT… ASK YOURSELF WHY IS BILL GATES BUYING SOO MUCH LAND AND CATTLE… A SEVERE HUNGER MOMENT IS.COMING
No mam thats mother nature taking back what we rudely took from her
Nature doesn’t care. There’s no intelligence, no malice, no thought. It’s just nature returning to the previous conditions. Humans need to remember we are insignificant specks in the universe and nothing is on our side. We may be able to hold something back but if we irreparably destroy something, that damage will continue far beyond what we wanted. To the farmers, thems the breaks.
Yea okay build on a lake bed and then be surprised
USE VOICE-OVER — IT NOT ABOUT YOU!!
I hear that a sacramento politician has a house in Corcoran that he didn’t want to get flooded so he sent someone to brake a dam so the water goes towards those roads to save his house. Now other towns have to deal with the flood.
SAVE THE HAMSTERS !
Now time to plant rice
It's crazy how just 2 yrs ago I passed through that same road on my way to sequoia forest. Many farms were up for sale due to severe drought and saw many signs up on the side of the road asking God for rain. It's ironic to say to be careful what you wish for. I feel bad for the farmers that decided not to sell and stick it out. Also prepare for fresh food to be expensive for several years to come.
California needs a BIG BATH….
at least cali isnt in a drought
So when they seen the water coming why not start moving your cattle
Never saw so much snow in the region in years..but climate change right? Think we need uses more gases again to heat that thing up year round.
Do people not understand, a naturally formed lake may dry out for a while, but it’s going to come back. Nature always takes back it’s on. Thank goodness for that. We can try to tame water. We can try to direct water, but in the end water is going to win. It is a fact of life. It is a fact of nature.
What's wrong with the people? This is a good thing. What universe did I wake up in today where the return of an extinct lake is somehow a tragedy? This is nature's imminent domain so that the needs of the many are outweighed by the needs of the few. Managed right. This water can help many people make it through the upcoming drought. We should hope for the full return of this lake. We can bail out corporations, so let's bail out all parties affected by this lakes return . And as a nation reap the rewards
Don’t play with a nature, there was a lake before and it will come back.
Nature follows and makes its own path no human can stop it.
Probably be 500 years before the lake dries up again if ever.
I love how people are starting to want to keep this low and a lot I mean a lot of Californias hate lakes and nature
If it ain't one thing it's another, first severe drought and water shortage, then the extensive forest fires, due to the dry brush, and now, more water than they can handle, gotta be careful what you wish for!!!
This was like watching a quick news story video in middle school, except it's intended for adults. About 30 seconds of actual information, and the rest of the video was like some child-like entertainment story
Let me get this right. This has always been a lake and when they dried it up to use it for our benefit. They build on the river path and knew it might come back yet they blame mother nature and not their dumb mistake. Should of left it how it was yet these are the same people that thought we could beat a bunch of Muslims with donkeys and AK 47s look how that worked. I'm sorry but this is what we get for messing with mother nature.
Hopefully Some of you Californians will stop freaking littering And this lake will thrive
Honestly the giant farms in California were a big part of what killed the small, family farms that were scattered in communities across America. Now they tend to be much bigger. This is a rough thing, but there’s a positive to every negative, perhaps we can shift to further biodiversity and help use this as a vehicle for poverty elimination and sustainable lifestyle promotion.
Not a gost lake it’s a lake that was dryed up for greed if we let it flow we will have water in California for ever
Mother nature… Damned if you do, Damned if you don't. Cry for water, you get water…cry too much water! 🤷♂️
