  1. There is NO WAY that injury was caused by a chicken nugget

  2. Mother let her little girl down 😢

  3. Fraud! That's what is wrong with this country! Criminals get away with stealing money.

  4. the audacity of mcdonalds – handing mcnuggets to an adult without an instruction manual 🤡🌎

  5. Baby daddy about to pull up😂 pay me my money or I'll tell the truth…😂

  6. Rewarding morans, only in America! How long was this kid screaming before she pulled over and checked if that's even what happened?? This is crazy! Money will be gone within a year. Probably won't even put a college fund up for this girl! Mother duty fail!

  7. How to get money for nothing. Some people would burn their whole leg for 800k

  8. Like she really would have read the instructions on the box … which would have said something to the effect of "hot food – be careful – especially when giving to children"…who said stupid doesn't pay. Now she can go buy new EVs for everyone in the family.

  9. 1:30 She said it herself, "dont take someone's word for it". Its your child's safety that is paramount, dont hand food to a 4 year old kid sitting alone behind in a moving vehicle, she could have choked as well and it wouldn't have been easy to help her immediately. Pretty sure the mom knows she kinda messed up, but anyway she's satisfied with the 800k.

  10. Also 2 thing:

    1. When I order McDonald’s food, it’s never hot. Like ever.

    2. McDonald’s needs to get better lawyers that lawyer sucked.

  11. That injury was caused by something else. 100%

  12. McDonald's should switch attorneys.

  13. This is a prime example of why I don't trust juries or our justice system. Who gave that hot food to someone who wasn't able to properly handle it? Or..the mother.

  14. My food is never hot when i buy it. Warm yes but hot never. Just saying

  15. The family was asking for 15 million dollars? 😂

  16. It is so ridiculous that we reward idiots. It is the mothers fault for not checking the nuggets and two, didn't the child cry, yell, fuss, anything or did you just blindly ignore that also. Just idiotic.

  17. Even if they put labels on it, people still won’t read it. They never read stuff until after the fact.

  18. That burn is not from a McDonald's chicken nugget. It looks like a second degree burn from cooking oil

  19. Chicken nuggets fried don’t you think they’re gonna be hot do you have to be told that stupid is this world?

  20. Why am I working full time?
I could be scamming major corporations and the government and never work a day in my life like these people.

  21. The mom is saying the most bs things. 😂 She’s happy she got 800k

  22. A warning on the box? first of all no one reads warnings and why should a parent be warned that a food or beverage could be hot and so to proceed with caution? That’s COMMON SENSE!

  23. There's ZERO way that was caused by a chicken nugget. That thing would've been burnt to a crisp to get anywhere near that hot…

  24. Proof that some should not not have children. Enjoy the free money though, most likely they will blow it at another McDonald's.

  25. yea this looks like the type of family that would sue for something that was their fault

  26. In any other country, a case like this would be thrown out immediately.

Reason: certain things have certain features that can hurt you. You have to learn that, either from your parents, your teachers or the hard way. There’s also a thing called common sense and personal responsibility.
To make the world safe for even the dumbest person is against common good.

The mother should have been sentenced to prepare healthy food for her daughter every single day until she‘s 18 years old.

  27. I dont believe it, if it is real only the parents are at fault. I had roaches crawl out of my eggs at a McDonald's. I didnt sue or want money or food. I called complained they had a roach problem and haven't eaten at a McDonald's since.

  28. Should of known they were black before i even clicked on the video.

  29. It was there for two minutes? Something don’t sound roght

  30. How is a warning label going to help when you just hand the food to the 4 year old in the back seat without even glancing at it?

  31. It is true that franchises like McDonald's are capable of covering large legal sums they are ordered to pay. However, that doesn't mean one should take the liberty to sue them for such large sums. It was unfortunate that the child was injured in this manner. Proving that the injury was caused by the McNuggets they purchased or not is challenging. It all depends on how convincing the victim was with her story. Trying to claim millions for it seems absurd to me. What if this injury was due to some other mishap at home? Who would they blame then? It can be a matter of greed when people sue each other for exorbitant amounts. Additionally, who knows how much the lawyer's cut was from the whole deal?

  32. How come the paper box did not catch fire form the red hot chicken nugget?

  33. So Get-Rich-Quick scheme DO work! Next they'll sue Baskin Robbins for serving ice cream that was too cold and caused brain freeze. You watch.

I'll never understand how she got away with this lawsuit. Oh wait, yes I do.

  34. I burnt my mouth on a Iced Coffee at McDonald's I demand 1.2 million dollars and a reality check.

  35. Correct title: The girl's parents were awarded $800K by Florida jury. That money won't last long lol.

  36. So you’re telling me I can go to Chilis, order one of those sizzling skillets, melt a few layers of skin off and be awarded for stupidity? 🤔

  37. Here is your lesson – be a negligent mother and then just sue to cover up your feelings of guilt. Brilliant!

  38. 800k to a getto gager? SMDH

  39. never had hot anything from McDonalds

  40. If you know your kid isn't able to know the difference between cold and hot then don't give them the food. The expectation is that you get hot food it makes no sense to assume room temperature food.

  41. Now you guys are never going to get hot food at McDonalds

  42. Ever notice that only weird, bad or just plain stupid things happen in the state of Florida?

  43. I worked at McD's for about two years. Nuggets are cooked at about 350 to 400 degrees. However, by the time they get taken out of the fryer, dumped into the tray, and finally boxed, they are cool enough to touch. Maybe still too hot to eat but you can pick them up by hand. I know because I did it.

    Something is fishy here.

  44. Really don’t see how a warning sign was going to change this situation.
