That's not a parakeet, it's a Greencheek Conure which is a parrot lol. It looks to just not be scared and on the offense rather than playing per se.

I don't want to be "one of those people" however even though the dog is gentle…one wrong move with the dog's paw ends the birds life. Or at the very least injures the bird. Just be careful, animals are precious and deserve the world❤️

That’s definitely NOT a parakeet. This bird is too smart, I believe it’s a parrot of some kind and they can be very playful with other animals and humans. It is a cute video though

I feel like my dog Nana, a very sweet and gentle Great Pyrenees, would behave that way with a bird too. She and my bearded dragon are best friends. They even nap together and she happily gives him rides on her back 🥰
