Mayorkas is the patron saint of illegal migrants and this was a direct quote from Harris about the criteria for seeking asylum; economic opportunities, extreme weather conditions, lack of climate adaptation as well as corruption and the lack of good governance and violence against women, indigenous people, LGBTQ, people, and afro-descendants.
