The grand jury investigating the events surrounding the January 6 Capitol riot and efforts to overturn the 2020 election are meeting at a federal courthouse and could consider charging former President Trump. One of the things about all of these conspiracy theories is how intricate and complex they are, and how many people would have to play difficult roles extremely well without leaving a trail of incriminating evidence. Unlikely.
Occam's Razor says, in effect, that "the simplest of competing theories [should] be preferred to the more complex …."
The simplest answer is that Trump is a criminal. That requires FAR less mental gymnastics, ignorance of facts, internal contradictions, and hypocrisy than any other theory.
The Witness Tampering statute has broad application that could be the basis for charging a couple dozen DJT crimes, 18 USC § 1512. It's very long so I suggest you highlight the cited statute and search it so you can read the whole text.
