The alcohol industry lobbies hard to keep the minimum alcohol limit where it is, and has raised it in the past already.
Then the culture pushes young people to "live it up" when they can't even afford housing much less manage a drinking habit. What's worse is we are left blaming eachother, when there should be more alcohol awareness. And illegal to drive while even buzzed.
It's always confused me how bars pour you as much alcohol as you want so casually and people are left to figure out how to get home after.
