Green needed a memorable bowling performance: People expect him to 'hit' down the order, but he does need to bowl well as often as he bats well as he is a true all rounder; I just hope injuries after a superb performance does not become a fixture with Green as it did with Flem, Hughes, Reid, Whitney, Watto et al., Both teams could have set better fields and had fielders come up closer. Nortje & Verreynne have been superb for SA and Temba & Jansen WANT to be there; Shamsi needs to be selected for variation as the SA attack were predictable & erratic in length, Warner & Smith cashed in clinically. SA top order is on life support; Elgar looked good & regrettably questions must be asked of his captaincy. Boland, Green & Hazlewood look good for Sydney, now Starc is sidelined. Well done Australia; SA are a good outfit in woeful form and need improving.

South Africa once again were crumbling under the quality Aussie bowling attack, but Marco Jansen & Kyle Verreynne had the resistance and did the counter attacking against the mighty hosts, put on a really good partnership and took South Africa to a reasonably good score on this pitch.
Congrats to Cameron Green for his test fifer, this man is having an absolutely stunning year… Expecting him many success in coming years.
