Two people were killed by a gunman at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School in St. Louis, Missouri. Officials say police responded quickly to confront the gunman, who was killed as officers returned fire.

I am SOOOOOOO unbelievably saddened for these victims and their families. I know what you are going through and there is not a singlenthing I can say or do to ease your pain. I didn't realize writing this comment would set my tears to flowing. No amount of time or distance can make what happened right or better. Five months later, to the day, and it still feels like yesterday at times. Grateful appreciation to the officers who kept this from being so much worse. Prayers for all affected, as this will not be an easy road to travel for a while. I do know there is light up ahead, even when it doesn't feel like it. Even when you can't see it, it truly is there. I am just so sad and my heart is even more broken. God bless and keep you all.
