When mass shootings start happening in a milk-toast place like Maine, it's gotten way past time to take decisive action. Federal legislation needs to set up guard rails forcing all states to keep track of guns, and ban the sale of automatic weapons to ordinary citizens. And there needs to be teeth in the legislation so that the Federal government can bring charges even if the state in question doesn't. Gun advocates do have some valid arguments. But we are already in a world where the citizenry could grab their guns and rise up against the US Military. Even if they could have some victories, they'd be crushed pretty quickly. Anyone who believes otherwise has another think coming.
Wrong I stand for the second amendment for the protection of my children now and when they are grown.
And if there was a good guy with a gun in any of these.there most likely would have been a difrent outcome…

Strange how the media call for military grade weapons to be sent to Ukraine and lsrael, but at the same time call for the disarming of US citizens…
Let's just be frank here…on a whole, the American people are a morally abhorrent bunch. Deep down we only care for ourselves and barely give a thought about our community, neighbors, and even family. Oh we might talk as if this isn't the case, but no, when it comes to a personal level, we couldn't care less. This has been the cultural norm for generations now. We are either too pig headed, indecisive or just plain lazy to do anything right for the greater good. This is why we can't even make an inch of progress on issues like gun safety, but also health care, the environment, corporate greed, education, etc. Our society is one of the most backwards and self-destructive societies in the world today. This degree of madness will only lead to our downfall.
Gun deaths are from ignorance, lack of training, and a homicidal culture.
When the politicians, criminals, police and military give up all of their guns, than we can maybe talk about the law abiding citizen relinquishing giving up their legally purchased personal property fire arms. Anybody see that happening?

Social media is a Trojan horse that's destroying society across the globe, and turning our kids into sociopaths. Why are we letting this happen in the US? Why is there no courage to regulate these companies? This is just absurd. Even if our dear leaders can't muster the backbone or brain cells to regulate this industry, we all can start pushing back by simply deleting our accounts and the apps themselves. Consumers have more control than we believe. Also, boys who can't handle rejection are fast becoming the source of so much grief in this country. What's wrong with our families?

I'm a non drinker but I'm not against anyone who enjoys a drink.
We must be honest with ourselves that alcohol is nothing more than a mood & mind changing drug. Now add in mass gun ownership & what do you think is going to happen.
If we want to change the outcome first step is to be honest.
So tired of hearing about the 2nd amendment (so outdated) when people continue to die for no reason. Not everyone should have the right to bare arms, make America great again with better gun controls!
