This accident happened on the bunny slope–not the novice slopes. I've never seen permanent brain damage or multiple rib fractures on the beginner slope. These slopes have minimal if any grade and are for beginners, almost all of whom fall–over and over. There is no plowing into or violently crashing into someone on these slopes. A major collision puts both parties on the ground. Were they? Was Sanderson attended to by the Ski Patrol and then transferred to a hospital? What did those MDs think?
