Violence erupted at parties across the U.S. as the country saw a series of deadly shootings Halloween weekend. NBC News’ Niala Charles reports on the violence surrounding the Halloween holiday and how experts say the night of October 31st is historically more violent than other days of the year.

Why do ppl need violence?
I use my house key to get inside the house,get under the cover,watch TV,go to sleep,all before sun down on Halloween.
Its not just Halloween, its any holiday nowadays. Wait till Thanksgiving, Christmas, new years day, people are just violent. Add a large gathering and you sir got a potential violent act.

This isn't as bad as I expected this year. I fully expected mass casualties across the country this weekend.

It's really concerning how trigger-happy people are these days.
Halloween celebrations across the USA marred by the second amendment. Silence the second: 1.5 sentences of dead ancestral twaddle that visits not freedom, but chaos, terror, trauma, death, misery, and paranoia upon the affairs of living descendants. Repeal the second because the second is the cause of America's exceptional gun violence problem, and its repeal is necessary for the construction of effective gun control laws which will cure America of this problem.
When will some people learn to have fun and leave the violence to entertainment in movies.

Halloween will be gone soon
I am in my mid 40s. Never been to any Halloween party. No interest. Sure I take my 9 year olds treat or treat. The last 20 years something always happens.
Can come up with a proposition to stop flavored cigarettes when then can easily raise the age to stop the selling of cigarettes to minors but they can't come up with a proposition with controlling illegal guns go figure.
America's gun culture unfortunately. Everyone's a tough guy when they can just pull a gun.

Most people are like what Jesus noted about the Jews when he walked the land of Israel from 29-33 C.E. as the promised Messiah, that "they were skinned and thrown about like sheep without a shepherd", lost.(Matt 9:36)
If people seriously understood what Halloween is, that it is a pagan festival to the demons, then they may avoid having anything to do with it, especially if a person wants to please God. If those who observe Halloween knows "the truth" about it, that it is a Christianized festival of Samhain, an ancient Celtic festival that taught that "the spirits of dead people roam the earth on October 31", whose "festivities are based on folk beliefs concerning supernatural forces and spirits of the dead" (Microsoft Encarta Reference Library 2005), they could have realized that it is a falsehood or lie, that they are dealing with wicked demonic spirits.
These these would have "known better" than to observe the pagan festival of Halloween or "All Hallows Eve", the day before "All Saints Day" of the Catholic church on November 1.(Note: "All Saints' Day" is said to be "the Holy Day of all the souls that live happily in heaven, and that one day will be ours", but which the Bible shows the soul dies, and is NOT separate from the body, but is us with all our desires, that breathes, eats, bleeds, dies and can be destroyed, see Gen 2:7; Lev 23:30; Deut 12:20; Jer 2:34)
Only when a person knows "the truth" and applies it are they able to avoid paganism, as a lawyer named Paul wrote, to "quit touching the unclean thing’”; “‘and I will take you in. And I will become a father to you, and you will become sons and daughters to me,’ says Jehovah, the Almighty.”(2 Cor 6:17, 18; Jehovah is God's name, see Isa 12:2, KJV; Note: Paul quoted from Isa 52:11)
As Proverbs 22:5 says: "Thorns and traps (or falsehoods, lies) are in the crooked man’s path, but whoever values his life keeps far away from them."
Wonder when we'll see an uptick in Gun violence ? Surely America doesn't have a gun issue yet. It's probably all the mentally unstable people who have access to illegal guns manufactured illegally. Or something like that. I wonder what the book of revelations will look like, on earth 🤔 >?

You ever seen what happens when you put too many ants in a box..
It's amazing how fake our news is. Not one mention that 100% of these crimes was done by Thugs and gang members. Over 33,000 violent gangs in the United States growing into the millions every year of members and yet not one common sense law to make gangs illegal. Every single one of these areas is releasing violent gang members out on the streets faster than they can be arrested. But yet no one can figure out why this is happening? Gang members and thugs are responsible for the majority of all murders, sexual assaults, armed robberies and school shootings. They don't do anything good for a community at all just crimes drugs and killings! It's like asking an abusive husband why are his wife has a black eye and him telling you the world is just violent now.
This is what happens when you defund police 🤦♂️
Worse thing about this Halloween in my hood is only 7 groups of trick or treaters shower up and we stuck with 20 pounds of candy. Thought for sure there’ll be plenty this year to make up for the pandemic shut downs but boy, very wrong here!
