The family of Halyna Hutchins is speaking out after footage was released in connection to the “Rust” shooting, slamming the sheriff’s decision to publicly release video of Hutchins’s final moments. An attorney for Matt Hutchins claims the first time he saw the footage of his dying wife was on the website Radar Online.

So when is Alec Baldwin going to go to court for a criminal assessment? Why hasn't there been any court proceedings? There are many people sitting in prison now that have used the same excuses as Alec Baldwin.
Then why did he watch it???
Her husband need to sue the police and the media for playing this tripe on tv. This was highly personal footage that did not include police brutality so no need to show camera footage.
I agree some things shouldn’t be seen by people other than family. Lot of tripe on the news that shouldn’t be and this is one.
These videos are of public interest, and we’re produced by tax payer body camera initiatives. They belong to the public. If the bereaved wants the un-redacted videos clearly showing his wife dying give him copies. He is Probably just worried about the lawsuit. Or needs to take better care of his son and make sure he’s not watching violent crap on the Internet at 9 yrs old.
The family has already been the victim of bullying buy the crass and disrespectful police
This is what transparent looks like. It’s hard but it’s needed. We need it here and in police shootings. Can’t have one without the other.
You are law enforcement! It was not an officer involved shooting! They had no obligation to make that public, till trial or other legal actions over and done!
