I said this before and now again. Harvey Weinstein is gross and aTYPICAL Hollywood male. I worked at TWO television networks out of college and it drove me to nursing (thankfully). I heard of this guys' reputation while not even in the same branch of the industry.That said, EVERY SINGLE WOMAN that claimed violation by him admitted in prior court that they slept with him willfully. REGRET does not equal R–PE! These sleazy, disgusting, opportunists diluted the actual act of r-pe. Anyone reading my comment can google photos in the hundreds of his accusers posing with him at various events and around town. Really, you were violated in such a significant way but ran to take photos and be seen with this guy. You called this guy to do you favors..?!!! These accusers went of their own volition to Weinsteins hotel room, home, or office AFTER HOURS!!!! Jessica Mann was even called out as a liar by people that knew her. She came off the most mentally troubled during the NY trial. I personally think Jessica Mann should be imprisoned for lying under oath.
Here is what really happened based on all the EVIDENCE that is VERIFIABLE (not one way accusations). Mann and all the others leveraged their sexuality to gain access to Weinsteins' connections, money, and clout (play for play). I saw it time and time again when I worked on the television side. I saw women with shirts unbuttoned walking out of auditions, I HEARD women offering to 'come over and massage' said executives, I HEARD women in limos going to sets essentially throwing themselves at male stars, etc..
I was told and even approached on the streets that I looked like Christy Turlington (I did model for Ford when I was a late teen). How come I NEVER went to hotels, dinners, offices after hours, etc.. with ANYONE in the industry (even with relentless advances from men that had TONS of clout)?….. The answer is because I had morality, values, education, and dignity. Woke does not mean wise or honest!
