  12. Condolences from Florida, sad day in the Aloha State😞😓😥🙏🙌🫡🤙

  13. So sad, and the friend talking, God bless him for seeing that and trying to help, wow, that had to be hard to watch.

  14. When you put yourself in a situation like this things like this happen. That's their home and feeding ground & attacks have been on the rise, I don't go in the water because of shark attacks. HULU has plenty of shows on shark attacks. Bull sharks can survive in fresh waters and have been found hundreds of miles inland in the States.

  15. As long as humans choose to enter their oceans these attacks will continue to happen. I choose not to swim in the ocean anymore for this reason it's not worth it.

  16. The sharks live in the water. It will come for you. People please take it seriously. It's an animal. If you go in the water be aware you could die or be in endanger. That's what could happen if you go in the water.

  17. Humans Need to understand that they're viewed as FOOD in the ocean ‼️

  18. Calling this a tragedy is kinda ridiculous?!? A human jumps into a body of water FILLED with sharks and gets attacked…LOL! Over here in this part of the country we call that STUPIDITY! HAPPY NEW YEAR humans!!!

  19. Shark "encounter"? How about shark attack because you know it….. attacked him.

  20. In kona near banyan's when i was a teenager we were attacked diving thank God for our bang sticks ,💥💨

  21. You go into someone's lunch box…What do you expect? Stop acting surprised.

  22. How about staying out of the water?

  23. God 😢rest His Soul 😢 condolences 😞 5o His Family

  24. Where is the surf control measures and government mandated mandatory safety training for surfing?

  25. Aw man
    Another shark
Mistaken a human for a fish… Not the sharks fault Sharks like humans it was just a mistake..

  26. Surfing is dangerous. It’s sad when this happens. I hope is soul finds peace.

  27. To the Woman and others that are interacting with sharks (feeding or making "friends") off the coast of the Hawaiian islands:
Apex predators will never be your "friends". Stop feeding them. Stop interacting with them. Allow them to live in their environment without unnecessary human interference, in peace. Take responsibility that you are teaching sharks to seek out humans. Manu is not your friend, is not your pet. Manu will lose his shyness and hunt you or others. Give him respect. 🦈

  28. sharks are hungry…. the multitude of microplastics in the oceans is destroying the ecosystem…..

  29. Love it when islanders compare everthing to a tacoma😂

  30. He died due to a mass loss of blood. He tried to fight the shark off and his hands were all shredded up. When tourist ask "are there sharks at this beach?" I tell them, yea. they're everywhere.

  31. ocean is for fishing, not for playing. animals will start to attack more and more people as we near Revelations in the Bible. even Manny Puig from Wild Boys, has stated this.

  32. Let's face it… I feel sorry for what happened but they know that there are sharks in those Waters and when you know the risk. Can't blame the shark.. they live there and they are predators looking for food.

  33. It didn't even need to use its laser.

  34. all the idiots who say sharks dont go after humans

  35. 👍👍👍I'm left struck with thousands of dollars disappearing from my 401k due to soaring inflation. Where can I safeguard and grow $500k cash for next 2 years at no risk? my goal is to retire early and afford my lifestyle after retirement🚀🚀🚀

  36. Nightmare fuel, see there are things like bears snowboarding, probably similar chances of running into one but you can SEE them, shark the size of a truck and you don’t see them till they are THERE. Rest in Peace Brother. 😞

  37. Sharks are tired of Humans invading their Homes.

  38. When will people learn that's their ocean not ours!

  39. People never learn!! These Shark attacks are super common. You just can't be swimming or surf boarding in the Ocean unless this is what you want to happen.

  40. 🦈🦈🦈🦈
It's Sharks home n they live there….they don't bother anyone outside oceans..
If you do such thing appraise future risk of being attacked n use brains if possible or if you have one.

  41. Ну что, будем шутить, как украинские идиоты? Нет! Мы же русские. Соболезнования родным погибшего.

  42. So, you go out in the shark's food bowl, get attacked and somehow I should care?

  43. When did an attack turn into (just) an "encounter"? It is akin to calling burning and looting a "mostly peaceful protest".

  44. Stick your finger into the water of any standard fish aquarium and observe how fish are aware of the sudden incursion, and depending on species, will move in to investigate. Expand that model to the ocean. You are the proverbial finger. Eventually something's going to come investigate. The longer you participate in the model, the odds begin to bend toward an encounter. Same same walking through a bad part of town at night tempting the odds.
Not a ocean phobia guy at all. So Cal beach kid, body surfing, skin diving/snorkeling there and for decades after in oceans and seas all around the world. I don't know, maybe just the usual caution as I get older, which is funny because I have less lifespan to potentially lose now. LOL. These days I'm happy to drive the boat, fish, but less inclined to jump in like I used to.

  45. In this comment section: people who have never surfed
