It only makes money for retail where most products are made in China or similar, because can cut down to almost wholesale price or more, just to clear out merchandise for new seasons and models. It doesn't help the quality retailer at all, (the one's that can't hike prices hundreds of percent over wholesale costs, for example costume jewelry from two dollars or less! wholesale, to thirty dollars or more in retail price), the ones with a conscience, but can come in asking for Black Friday deals. Definitely can have clients supposedly with the social conscience, but with five pairs of cute shoes for their kid made in China, at five dollars a pair. It's less stomach revolting to explain it out of experiencing it anymore, but those types of retailers can make tons of money. Walking around the big wholesale markets, I just couldn't do it, had to be anything else that convinced me that otherwise, such as fair trade or companies that gave alot back, and alot of US made wonderful small town companies Start thinking about people in sweat shops, including children. That's why when someone like Elon Musk says that have to make stuff to get very wealthy, I have my serious discrepancies.
Pro Tip: by personal care items and food. Don't put anything on credit. Pay off debt instead.
And the annual consumerist rat race begins once again.

Went to the grocery store @ 9Am-lot was quite empty. So was the Wal-Mart lot I passed on the way. My grocery store is a one stop shop chain ( Meijer) so they sell groceries and everything else. Nobody was buying gift items. No big screen TVs, game consoles etc. People were mostly in the grocery section. I was expecting empty shelves, but the stock level wasn't bad (Yes, I know Thanksgiving was yesterday, but I went to family and Fri is my regular day)
Yeah, I'm not risking getting trampled just so I can save a couple of bucks.

Lousy sales pitches. This will be the worst recorded historical season for sales. I can't afford anything, have to save for the continued self inflicted democrat hell. Happy holidays to all, is the message everyone I know will receive and I don't expect nor want anything other than that for me. Family dinner and a few non expensive toys for the little ones is all for this year. Thanks to the democrats and their policies, hyperinflation, green agenda, taxes, national debt and the list goes on.

Black Friday low end junk. No good deals on premium products. Fake sales galore, buy this pack of socks for $15 was $300! People actually eat this up as they are more worried about what the “was” price tag says than the actual product when they gift. Please don’t insult my intelligence. Black Friday sucks.
