Two administrators were shot at a Denver high school after a 17-year-old student was searched and a weapon was discovered, authorities said. They were both rushed to the hospital. NBC News’ Gadi Schwartz has the latest updates on the chaotic aftermath.

Question: Would you want your children going to a school that required one or any number of students to be Pat-Down Searched? Daily? or even once a year?
Wow, parents still send their kids to a school building, and people continue to work at them!? The kids in today's world don't know how to deal with each other and adults. Wow, we have let our kids down. Stop sending your kids to school, it’s not a safe place anymore. Use remote learning, and work at home remote, the world and the US has changed. Use the technology that we have to save our kids and for our protection. There is no more “the great school social experience” like they had in my day back in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. Both kids and teachers were respected. It's going to get worse because the adults in charge don’t care and do nothing to change this, sadly.

Police officers should be mandated at every public school by state law. Taking away police officers from Denver schools was beyond a mistake. Denver doesn’t surprise me though.
The solution isn't more police officers in schools, the solution is less guns. More guns means more gun deaths, that's just common sense. Every other country on earth has less guns than America, and they suffer less gun violence. Gun control has been tried, and it works.

Police should be in every school period.
So the 'woke" school administrators got rid of the resource officers and then was secretly (they are always hiding something from parents) having faculty pat down a problem student for weapons. Well you know Democrats have said that they don't believe that parents should have a say or know what goes on in their child's schools. A similar incident happened a few weeks ago in Santa Rosa CA. They also got rid of the resource officers (didn't tell the parents) and a student was stabbed to death on campus. Protect your children. Stop listening to these 'woke' Democrats.
It's a public schools, they are worse than sending your kids to prison for the day, drug's, mental issues, gang's, no different. Crazy .gonna get worse , these kids are out of control.
This is a symptom of Americans not paying their “social tax.” Underfund edu, underfund social safety nets, underfund…anything that exists to make a society function cohesively. I get it. Who wants to pay for other peoples stuff? Maybe when America sees the destruction a society without social safety nets brings… it would change its mind. PS. Even the Roman’s had forms of socialization for the greater good.
DPD isn't to be blamed as many parents are saying they are. DPS did away with having officers at the school.This is yet again, another school failure in Colorado to protect students.
Why didn't DPS Administrators alert DPD to obtain a search warrant on the suspect when they knew he was a threat?
Having administrative staff conduct search and seizure is obviously wrong, even if they are trained. I pray the two who were shot will recover. But they need to sue DPS for mismanagement, the same as the 1st grade teacher in VA who was shot by a 6 year old who was a known threat.
Students can't possibly learn with the constant threat of violence. Today is the 2nd anniversary of the Boulder massacre that left ten people dead, including a police officer, because the shooter was able to obtain a gun because of the lack of gun restrictions and enforcement.

If a school needs armed police your nation has a gun problem. The UK, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries have all prevented mass shootings by changing gun laws. When will you people learn that some ancient so called right is irrelevant when it kills more people than it protects. Tell the men with the tiny manhoods to find a different way to validate their "masculinity". It's pathetic that you people still allow this to happen in the land of the oppressed and the home of the weak.

2nd Amendment supporters are insisting that all students now carry guns in order to make sure everybody is safe. That's gonna be the angle from gun enthusiasts everywhere.
People, putting a gun in the hand of a person isn't going to make people feel safer especially if you go with the notion that background checks are an infringement upon what is considered to be a "God given right". God never said "Thou shall be packing heat wherever you go" or even a mention of Jesus blessing AR-15 rifles or the Roman's who arrested Jesus moving in wearing SWAT / riot gear.
This is why I say everyone should be armed because if everyone knows they have a gun why risk it and if there's crazy people the good people which there are more then bad people would stop the bad people
Anything on the 14 year olds shooting up Philly every afternoon NBC? The way you pick and choose your coverage is cleary agenda driven, cover this gun violence but not that gun violence. One story we can sell for a push for gun control, the other story may make people feel unsafe from violent crime, so we bury it.
