I left the main upper level university system due to abominable policies back in mid 1960's. I was told they were not ready for " social integration" although accepting federal funds etc. Just a few black students especially in sports. Others were accepted but channeled into ONE major = home economics. Oh yes ! Hate behaviors were totally ignored. Found a way to finish my education and professional goals but far away from any elite university. Harassment was rampant, professors were allowed to openly give bad grades to anyone who did not agree with their racist behavior. Now…politics, funding, new "laws" etc. and here we are . The academia system just blows with the wind. They are all nuts !

I have been in a management position more than half my adult employment life. I have interviewed college graduates and people who hadn't gone to college. I can tell you, I would take someone who had NOT gone to college everytime. College graduates generally feel they are to good to work etc. I have gone to college and can say this, College is a waste of time unless your going to be a doctor or a dentist or one of those types of professions. EVERYTHING else can be taught on the job. I was in management before I went to college and didn't even finish college cause it was a waste of my time.

College is junk now. These kids are given gold stars just for showing up. Their brilliance is measured by their ability to plagiarize ideas of other great people. Everyone knows that you simply need to paraphrase the ideas in the expensive book you bought, especially if the professor wrote it. Butt-kissing is way to get an A! Even worse, these new online colleges merely require you to post a few messages to a forum each week for a passing grade. I did more hard work in grade school than I ever did in college.
