People want water, but when they get it complain. My advice start building things on higher ground. Do not chase the water as it gets lower. One day the water will come back. Then it will wash away anything in its' path. The world tells everyone that sea levels will rise, but still invest billions in areas that will one day be submerged. This really makes you wonder. If governments have been saying for 30 years global warming is going to make water levels rise, then why do they keep building next to the water?

The question I have is does all that flooding affect the lava flow beneath? All that pressure and vibrations of the water flow could disrupt or dislodge something underneath?
Not to make light of the difficulty the affected people are facing, but will any of that water move south?
