The House passed protections for same-sex and interracial marriage in bipartisan fashion today, just as the Senate did last week. The bill will go to President Biden’s desk to sign next. NBC News’ Ali Vitali spoke with one Michigan couple on what this means to them.

The term 'inter-racial' marriage is inherently racist. There is only race…the human race, which happens to be comprised of an abundance of ETHNICITIES. I would like the U.S. to adopt the term 'inter-ethnic' marriage rather than inter-racial. By the way, inter-ethnic marriage is a long established world TRADITION. Homosexuality is not…for a reason.
