I find this interesting, publicizing this knowledge of deep fake material and how they'll be combatted. That's how things are improved in many cases. Show your enemy your full hand and intentions, and you've just created a smarter enemy, right? Just saying…this may not be the smartest thing to do on the internet these days…
The Star Trek franchise fathomed up the technology that is used today. Star Trek always spoke commands and asked questions to the computer just like we speak and asked questions to Siri and Alexa. On Star Trek DS9 on the episode "In the Pale Moonlight" Captain Sisko and Dukat used a deepfake to fool the Romulans into joining them in war. Lt. Cmdr. Data voice cloned Capt. Picard on the Star Trek TNG episode "Brothers". And now it's reality.
