Kl Rahul doesn't fit in any format of the game. We need a better opening pair in test. We don't need to play IPL for 2 months . We need to invest in new talent based on test cricket only. Three different formats should have three different captains and three different squads.

India need to commence succession planning. Forget about players “reigniting their careers” – look at the future. The likes of Rohit, Pujara, Kohli, Rahane, KL Rahul will be way too old by the time the next finals come up so time to introduce new players amongst them NOW. Identify the young players and bring them in – The likes of Gill, Jaiswal, Sudarshan, Sarfaraz Khan and hopefully Pant are getting their development opportunities.

I wish someone says IPL schedule needs to be reduced, another thing is to have another side of A and B Sides who go in with the main set and play more games in parallel. If WTC final is so important then why dint the 11 move out of IPL to get enough practise time. The basic planning itself is missing. Obviously we missed Bumrah, Rahul, Pant and another 100 players😂😂

Hardik should be excused from international t20s and joined test cricket. Ideal captain, would give balance in the team like Ben Stokes. If he plays at no 6 or we would have the full freedom of playing aswin jadeja or axar and 3 specialized bowlers. India should move on from Rohit Sharma, Pujara also Rahane. Jaiswal to open with Gill, Iyer at 3.

Have players who actually are passionate to play in test , have a separate 5-6 players who only plays test . Make them play in English and Australian conditions.
In my humble & honest opinion it's the lack of preparation compared to the Aussies that affected us the most as they are here to not only win the WTC but primarily win the Ashes so their preparation for English conditions was top notch, also the wrong team selections in not picking Ashwin & Kishan was a big mistake, absence of sheer hunger to win, aging Superstars etc.. Also this may be an unpopular opinion but we need to bring the fire & pride back in being selected for the Indian team & stop idol worshipping… Also I understand that sportsmen have a very short window compared to other jobs to capitalise & make money so endorsements are perfectly fine but please curtail all other excess distractions like social media etc.. they are distracted with so much more these days.. as a sportsman they need to understand they only have that many years so just shut out the distractions & dedicate yourself to the game for the limited time you are blessed within the sport.. We as fans too have to start getting back to being traditional.. IPL is great but Team India is everything & It should be our no.1 priority.. For the next few years, ideally we need to seriously identify the next Test Captain amongst the young lot (Rishabh, Shreyas, Shubhman or whoever) & make him the Vice Captain under Virat Kohli & groom him.. Virat can be the interim Captain in the meantime.. and if you don't want to get Virat back then appoint Rahane as Interim Captain & just train the next generation leader under him.. I love Dravid he's always been a great player but I have my reservations about him when it comes to captaincy and coaching.. The team under Dravid is not as aggressive as they need to be, they're a lot more defensive hence, for coaching why not go back to a foreign coach like John Wright & Gary Kirsten.. they will be unbiased & bring in a different perspective.. look how good Mccullum has been for England with the new thought process.. Why do we have Vikram Rathore as batting coach who never played International cricket for that long.. we need BCCI to address unavailability of quality coaching.. yes Vikram Rathore has a great domestic record but we need coaches who are experienced in International cricket in all conditions.. Look at the quality of coaching and support staff of IPL teams compared to the Indian team & with that I rest my case .. thank you for bearing with me & my rant

Make Rahane Test Skipper He can bat at top3 with his technique, Ashwin as vice captain, Washinton Sundar and Shardul thakur are proven overseas all rounders with gut wit might n hunger, Rishab Pant is future captain

I think all indian team played n playing so well.. unfortunately aussie suppose to play weaker so this star studded team could win wtc..why smith scored century and Aussie bowlers pitched so accurately…come on india is way better than Aussie..they are self declared champion…no change required…
Having different teams for different formats need to considered. Don't understand India's obsession of playing all three formats.
