Notice how there were PRIVATE school kids surrounding the governor while he signed the new laws? Pretty sure the new laws affect PUBLIC school kids. Campaign stunt for privileged voters. If he was doing it to protect ALL children, he would have had a way more DIVERSE group of children surrounding him.
What does the material that the law applies to have to do with algebra? CRT and gender theory has nothing to do with algebra and has no place in that class and that teacher needs to mind his own business and focus on the subject he was hired to teach. And if it’s not taught in grade k-3 like this lady said, then why does she have a problem with the bill? If she’s correct, then nothing changes for her.

I love how the teachers are just reacting basically like "…what?" in the most apathetic tone ever of how clearly they trying to be used to prote someone's "conservative" re-election campaign
Beneath it all is just this subtle understanding that, ope, another way a parent who hasn't taught their children a single thing since how to balance on two legs could request a teacher be fired *sigh, eye roll

Uh math? Science? English? Teach objective verifiable facts … that’s your job. If teachers don’t like that, then they can become social media influencers.
Does the US not have a humans rights code where LGBTQ+ are protected from discrimination? If so then you are allowed and should be acknowledging the existence of these groups. If you can talk about heterosexual crap than you should be able to talk about any other orientation.
IF the parents are that butt hurt about it than pull your kid out and homeschool them in your little bubble of bigotry. They are gonna have to face the world eventually and they will realize not everyone is like you. Or put them in a religious school.
But public schools are secular and should be upholding the legal protections of ALL citizens.

If you go to your local public library childrens section you will find books about lgbq people, trans children, feminist babies, ect. Soooo why wouldn't it be in school libraries?
It used to be that you home schooled children to teach them about your religion. Now you have to home school to prevent them from teaching your kids there religion. I feel really bad for these teachers and the kids that further feel like they can't talk to a trusted teacher about there real feelings about there own body.
