The only reason these SCOTUS scum went for this was because their corruption has been so exposed to do anything else would probably bring about instant Congressional Oversight, which they are trying to avoid. Why would they avoid ethical regulation? Because their corrupt and want to continue the corruption.
Means states still have a check and balance on voting laws. Why are all trump following state legislators trying to turn a 2 party political system into a one party political system?

Any change should be getting rid of electoral votes. Electoral college has out lived any usefulness it had years ago. Look at the repercussions. American got 2nd Bush and trump as presidents when both loss the popular vote.

Here in Houston, the Texas legislature has been pushing through legislation that would give them power to nullify election results in Houston and Harris County if they don't like the outcome. They are upset that Harris County is increasingly a Democrat stronghold.
