Hallie, I dare you to visit SEATTLE and PORTLAND (and not just the "safe parts of the city")between those two cities there are over 30,000 don't care homeless people.
You can't even go to a grocery store with out a security guard greeting you.
I was born and raised in Idaho and now have lived Seattle for over 20yrs. Yes there is a huge contrast in the way people live and think but hands down the few people who live in IDAHO can relate to the so called MAGA label. The people of Idaho will always choose the opposite of what SEATTLE and PORTLAND have become.

Idaho is similar to Wyoming in that the state is simply becoming scary. The Far Right states attract anti-democracy, MAGA-type voters which has a number of serious consequences for the state including reduced tourism, reduced healthcare options/availability, increased gun ownership, etc. Far Right movements always end badly as they become increasingly self-destructive and tend to support authoritarian, incompetent leaders. The problem for society is the damage caused prior to their end.
Now report on how democratic policies are rapidly crumbling America into a third world nation.
