  1. The British empire was evil and demonic. I have always loved the Queen. I wish she would have apologized for the wickedness that occurred. I wish she would have stood up to the UK press for harassing Duchess Meghan after she married Prince Harry.

  2. reignited? highlighted šŸ˜Ž

  3. Complicates her legacy? It is her legacy.

  4. Oh the word ā€œ complicated ā€œ has an alternate meaning ā€œ when they should be using the atrocities to define the monarchy. period!!!!!

  5. I'm proud as a mixed race person to have been a subject of the British Empire – the greatest empire that the world has ever known. British Guyana was a very nice place to live back in the day, and we loved our Queen. We also had integrated schools since the 1910s and mixed marriages were completely legal and never an issue unlike in America during that time. Low crime, good infrastructure, a beautiful botanical garden in Georgetown, good schools and pleasant people.

  6. What an insult having a North American digging into the obscene notion that Britains colonial legacy was anything other than positive. One of the reasons British Colonialism was (sadly) diluted was because the US wanted to replace it with their own insidious version based on capitalist greed and rampant christian missionary zeal. Sorry but, all these countries which where once colonies can’t blame there current woes ( poverty, over population, environmental degradation, tribal/religious conflict) on there colonial past, simply because these problems are all of their own making since ā€œthrowing off the yokeā€ .

  7. This is just silly.. Regardless of country or culture, every place has a history. African tribes are in conflict as we speak. Some tribes will kill a man for passing by. Native Americans were doing horrible things to other tribes and even their own people. Some countries have horrible governments and leaders and the people are suffering to this day. So tired of everyone going all the way in the past and looking for trouble as if your culture never had any issues. Get on with it. The Queen was anointed and was closest to God. Britain has an amazing system in place with the constitutional monarchy. I'm Italian.. shall I cause a fit because my ancestors may haven been enslaved to fight as a gladiator?? Great Britain is an AMAZING country, with amazing roots, continuity, traditions and whatever they got going on, it's working .. stop being jealous and move on!

  8. People talking BS without facts is just nonsense illiterate people who are incapable of tolerable dialogue and having an honest debate without name calling… I'm never gonna agree with everything someone says, nor with they. But media is the main reason so many liberals talk such hatred for something they have no clue about. Sheep's be blinded by wolf's in sheep's clothing…

  9. Colonialism is more of a good thing than bad… I'm not justifying the bad things caused by colonialism… but it was gonna happen no matter what… power is power. If your weak you will be conquered because we can. And why not. It's kinda like Darwinism. SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST! if the colonized took the time to be as creative as the colonizers then we wouldn't have thus debate. China development guns 1st but Europeans perfected it. Slavery was immensely terrible but humans will take advantage of people who cant defend themselves…. Fact of life!

  10. A deadly legacy of loot, rape and plunder , she sat plumb in the middle….so I don’t respect the monarchy , but I offer condolences to her as an individual

  11. The visceral hate and making of no points including in this report. What conversation? about government policy 100s of years ago? What does that history have to do with her life and her death? For Americans to seemingly have this shame on their colonial past is utter ignorance and hypocrisy. Colonialism is the active influence on a countries form of government, court system, providing of military protection, sharing of technologies to assist and share in the extraction of natural resources. The USA has a colonial past, present, and Future so maybe we need to have a conversation at home first and leave these people to mourn their Queen and mark this time in History with dignity and gravitas. They don’t need it marred by ridiculous hate filled comments about how she was somehow personally responsible. Discussions about these historical cultural and societal issues can be discussed if unresolved but 300 years later the discussions are pointless if the topics are pointing blame j particular person or country it’s just absurd.

  12. Take those diamonds on her crow back to africa# time for reparations

  13. A legacy of hate, brutality, and oppression. Nothing complicated about it.

  14. And what of the American's history with slaves?

  15. "Great" Britain supports the continued illegal occupation of Palestine by an Apartheid Zionist regime.

"Great" Britain is funding proxy wars all over the world.

  22. Who is the muppet in this video that said the Queen was in Kenya at the time of the Mau Mau rebellion? What utter tosh. She was in Kenya 8 months before.

  23. The Queen had nothing to do with colonialism except picking up the pieces due to the past actions of successive governments and creating an organisation for soft power and diplomacy and the betterment of everyone called the commonwealth. If anything she should be given a sainthood.

  24. not all histories of colonialism are troubling , there are yellow mom keys in asia such as hong kong and filipines who cherish european colonization . when british colonizer left hong kong , 10 out of 10 hong kong mom keys end in tears

  29. Her lineage has nothing to do with the Queen and her person

  30. Alternate Title: The media is milking the Queen's death for every last drop of drama its worth. Cancel culture doing what they do best found something from her past DECADES AGO and now we're fueling the flames of hate for profit.

  31. This is crazy to discuss peoples ignorance to bring her name up about colonialism. The Glorious Revolution happened in 1688 and Parliament has called all the shots since them so if anyone feels the need to point a finger point it at the government. The Queen if anyone supported the marginalized and supported dignity. Being in a non-political position she would not express publicly her position on political issues nor express them to her prime minister. Slavery has come up too she was born 93 years after Britain abolished it in 1833 with her 5th great Uncle King William IV giving assent freeing 800,000 slaves. This happened 30 years before the USA and didn’t require a civil war take the lives of 600,000 Americans. They need to check their ignorance at the door and shut up! They just come across as opportunistic fools trying to get attention. But it reveals they are ill informed and frankly racist themselves.
