The blow to the building of the Kharkiv regional Administration was most likely inflicted from the Smerch multiple launch rocket system or from its modern Ukrainian modification Alder. This was reported to Zvezda by military expert Alexey Leonkov.
"By the nature of the damage that was there, it was most likely one of the single arrivals with a very powerful warhead. "Alder" they shoot about 120 kilometers. The flight path indicates that they fired from positions where the APU is located," the expert explained.
Leonkov explained that the rocket did not hit the building itself, but next to it, the nature of the damage suggests that the explosion was quite powerful, and stressed that the shooting was conducted from the places where the positions of the Ukrainian troops are now located.
