Mr. Oropesa is innocent until proven Guilty. He was exercising his 2nd Amendment rights whilst practice shooting his AR-15. Mr. Oropesa feared for his life when he was accosted by his neighbors on his private property. The neighbors should have called the Police instead of behaving as Vigilantes. This is a clear case of Stand Your Ground. And let me be clear, Mr. Oropesa has a valid Consular card.
I don’t think the neighbor was much of a nice guy either. He ran away hiding leaving all the women and kids after he pissed off a drunk neighbor with gun! There has got to be more to the story but because of the victims and the shooters horrific crimes and they’re still looking for him, people don’t really want to say anything bad about this neighbor..
