Southwest should be required to reimburse the full amount of the ticket, a free ride home and $3000 per person, husband and wife child. This is unacceptable after the taxpayers have bailed them out they did not make the proper corrections and handing out bonuses rather than investing, they come accompanied to being bailed out, it is time for Southwest close their doors, and we made an example out of it so the department of transportation could move forward and people can travel in a more organized and safe manner. These air flight fights are brought on by their miss handling of customers which creates aggravation, and when they sit in there and serve cocktails, it only leads to a stronger angrier moment. There should be no alcohol sold at the airports you were going up into the air and there’s no need for alcohol to be served.

Why are people surprised? When businesses are deregulated, they only have one thing in mind: making a profit with the least number of people possible. They’re not interested in service. How about listening to the news about one of the biggest storms coming not this year, but EVER and not traveling. People need to stop blaming the airlines and just say, I took a chance on traveling, and now I'm stuck. I will just need to deal with my decision.
It's really the people's fault. They should know that the weather is bad and flights will be canceled.
This has to do with winter weather conditions and forecast. I don't blame Southwest Airlines for the cancels. This is about safety. And of course if an Southwest plane had taken off and crashed, the complainers would be saying, flights should be canceled….Plus the stupid, very stupid Republicans are going to use the cancelations as a political stunt and platform to gain browny, points….Again Republicans should be focusing on real issues of gun control, banning the battle zone AR15, raising the buying age to 21 and implementing red flag laws….and stop wasting money on a worthless wall and start building homes for Veterans, the elderly and needy. We're sick and tired of these millionaire Republicans sitting down in their warm offices and doing absolutely nothing to protect children and teachers of mass shootings and closing their eyes and ears to the Jan 6th Republican terrorists on our nation's capital.
