It appears that Amir was related to a POS criminal whose brother's apartment he was sleeping in. Amir is dead because he made poor decisions to hang with violent criminals and sleep with his gun under the comforter. The video shows a clean shoot even though his finger was extended safely on the barrel. This escalated fast. However, I strongly believe if he had been white the officer wouldn't have killed him with 3 shots. They would have disarmed him.

He was not a suspect. He was not even in the conversation. There was no warrant for him. It appears somebody screwed up and the Police never should have been there. They executed a person. They executed an innocent person. This happens far too often in our country and the VAST majority of victims are Black and Brown people. This is so old. This has gone on far too long. If he had a legal right to have a gun beside him while sleeping, what happened? Sympathy to the grieving and questions for the warrant?
I hate that a young man has lost his life. Very sad. The police had no knock warrant for a person living there who was a suspect in a homicide / murder. They didn't know who was sleeping on the couch they kicked it because it could have been one of the people on the no knock warrant, so when they saw the person had a gun in his hand the cop that shot must have thought eliminate the threat. I just don't get why somebody sleeps with their hand wrapped around a gun.
