Hundreds of demonstrators stormed the Swedish embassy in Iraq and set it ablaze to protest the expected burning of a Quran in Sweden. According to Swedish media, police had granted an application for the Quran burning outside the Iraqi embassy in Stockholm.

People may not like it, but that is the point with protected speech. It’s more then enough time that people learn to be in secure in their own beliefs and identities that how another person chooses to express their beliefs doesn’t raise this group outrage.

First we have the Iraqis who live abroad trying to please their saviors and lords (white people) by apologizing for a behavior that.. doesn’t even affect them? Yet, yet again are they (white people) the victims of this, and they need their apology! Then we have the western people trying to parent the “animalistic Arabs” by logics that can also be applied to these protestors (ie it’s a freedom of expression!), if they only choose empathy and understand instead of the way of the hypocrites. Instead of trying to act prestige and educated behind a keyboard remember the suffering the Iraqi nation has been enduring for decades, a suffering entertained and supported by the west, that nothing but religion has given this poor nation a hope and been their life line, so please excuse us while we protect what has protected our souls while you watched our suffering on your TV while snacking as an afternoon activity before you go to your comfortable beds in your peaceful land.
To those who think Sweden is a weak military country, you are speaking out of complete ignorance. We were really close on being the 4th country on the planet to develop a-bombs. We had one of the biggest air fleets on the planet during the end of ww2. We have a very strong military industry. Sweden have won the most wars in history versus Russia. Waking a sleeping giant isn't smart.
These Iraqis are just exercising their right for the freedom of act.

Assalam O Alaikum friends …. please note and remember… I understand our (Muslims & others who respect other religions) feelings hurt and we feel very agitated and angry on such incidents… But please for Allah's sake, do not take this to next level or protest against it in aggressive manner…. If such incidents happen.. please ignore… If Quran gets old and if it needs to discard it .. we either will sock in water to ensure the script is removed and then burry it underground or burn it to prevent mishandling or any disrespect to it (discarding without a proper procedure like throwing away in trash etc.).. so please let Allah decide the best for such ignorant people and we don't fall in a trap of retaliating or protesting by doing the same with the scriptures of other religion. May Allah give us the patience and restrain us from such evil thoughts or acts. Ameen!!! Summa Ameen!!
