Why prayers? It is so frustrating to see so many comments. What good does it do? I think what people mean is condolences? take heart? be strong? don't build in a flood-prone area? I just don't understand why say prayers, what is the point?

US needs to build their houses on stilts and stop producing CO2 from fossil fuels. Sadly it's too late to save 90% of all species. At the end of this century civilisation will have broken down. The biosphere is already collapsing. We knew this will happen since the Early Seventies!
